Good Afternoon,
I know the Jeep does not fit into the LX body family but it's got a HEMI. I have gotten this code twice on now on wife's 26,000 mile jeep. The first time left her stranded on the Mass. turnpike. She was not happy with this. We brought it in and supposedly it was a TSB on a certain part...I think they just flashed it and said see ya later. Unfortunatelly the dealer is now gone. So the engine light is back on and the code is back. It's running like crap and it's going in tomorrow to our new MoPaR dealer. Anybody know the fix???

Nope it wont...
Unless the cat is clogged...
Yeah I knew it was the cat efficiency problem, sorry I didn't state that off the bat. No headers on this jeep. Simply stock. You guys wouldn't believe how bad it sounds when this code kicks on. She started to run errands this morning and I told her shut it off... It's Going to the dealer tomorrow. I wonder if it's got a bad kitty cat?
P0430 is the only code?
bad o2 sensor? broken cat? might be an exhaust leak too.
It really did leave her stranded with no other codes. 60 mph through a tunnel on the Mass Turnpike it just shut off.
