Cheap Exhaust Mod

Guys, I just had the resonators right in front of the tips taken out. Went with a straight pipe & a slightly larger tip (3.5"). OMG, the car sounds just like the commercials now. Not loud like a flowmaster, but it does growl like a hemi should. Under $100 including the tips. I recommend this for everyone.

Any resonance / "highway drone" ..?

you can hear it some on the Freeway, but nothing annoying. It is a lot mellower that full exhaust.

drove a demo at my dealer and loved the sound. 3 days later picked up my rt and was suprised that it was so quite, called the dealer to see if the sound increased over time --their answer was ------we removed the rear mufflers/resonators and put on larger tips. i agree this is a great and easy mod

how many of these threads do we have to go through? it does not sound like the commercial with just the rear resonators removed. sigh.
