    Charger SRT hood scoop. Check this

    Has any of you RT/SXT owners put one of these hood scoops on yet:

    Since i'm planning on getting the SRT front bumper, i don't see spending a grand on a hood with scoop. I found this and was wondering if any of you guys have put this on?

    Sup Rander,

    IMO..and honest at that. DONT DO IT...your car looks good, dont do something like this to it. It will not look good as you think actually on your car. Remember it is still a stick on.

    I have a "SRT STYLE" hood, but its not the srt hood, because this is functional, directly to the intake.

    IMO dont do it.

    Weezy does the scoop on your hood bulge a little more than the actual SRT8 hood?

    I am not sure...remember with aftermarket stuff, measurements arent exact...but it looks the same on the outside to me...its the underside that helps and differs the most.

    Just do a search for my name. Because I dont wanna hijack this thread. Do a search for Weezy or Justin. There is not many here of my car now...I think they maybe around 5-10 pictures. But there are some side shots.

    No prob. I think randy should just get a new hood. I was looking for cheaper ways to do my hood also. Until I realized there is really no way around it.

    To answer your question and to get this thread back on track... I say no.

    I once saw a Daytona with that exact same scoop on my way home from work once. It look very bad, large gaps where it met the hood, he had it painted Go ManGo! and just plopped it right on top of this flat black HEMI decal. It looked more like a growth than a natural extension of the car.

    LOL. Dam, stepped out for an early dinner and came back to this good info. Yeah, I guess I won't do this mod. I want to get the SRT front fascia, so i thought the scoop would compliment it. So much for that idea. BTW, any of you guys know where I can get the SRT front fascia from a vendor or anyone with an OEM? Thanks for your input guys. It's very much appreciated!
