    Which cam for Mopar Performance heads?

    Hi all, Im just about to pull the plug and get the mopar performance heads for the 5.7 and would like to know if there are any cams out there; and the one producing the most hp; that would work with only a superchips 91 flash?

    First of all welcome!

    Second, PM Jonzmagnum or Powerwagon. I believe they are both running the MOPAR heads and have cams as well.

    My two cents - The Franks Racing Sidewinder. I've got it running with only a superchips. The cam kicks a$$ and you retain your MDS.

    Look in the venders section fo Franks Racing they sell a cam called the Sidewinder that would work perfect for you and make around 360 to 380 rw hp and torque close to 400rwtq and it even keeps MDS happy have a look i think you will like it.

    As echoed above, I would highly recommend the Sidewinder cam from Frank Racing. You can check the dyno sheet and video links in my sig for the kind of numbers you can expect!

    Sidewinder will cause no idle issues,keep mds and give you about 100hp over stock at the rear wheels with the Mopar heads with a JBA header and High Flow cats.And all it needs is a Superchip tuner.

    I sure would like to find a place in the Greater Atlanta area that I could trust to void my warranty for me. I may end up driving either to Charlotte or NY at some point...

    Awesome!! I think im nearly sold on this setup, it sounds sweeeet! WOuld the Fri heads do better for me than the mopar ones though? I wanted to keep my stock heads so i would be paying the core charge.

    The FRI heads get very similar #'s with the bumped compression.
