I don't have that on mine. Being the computer geek that I am, I've seen many of those on LCD monitors. It's a bad pixel (as you said) and it will never get better. My advice is to take it in and get the NAV replaced while it's under warranty.
No - but my LCD iMac screen just flickered in one part as I read this topic, kinda freaked me out.

Agreed - pursue it now rather than later, but be prepared for some resistance on this one. As a small number of bad pixels are unavoidable in the LCD manufacturing process, most manufacturers have very specific policies on how many dead pixels constitutes a defective display. The 19" LCD monitor that I just bought, for example, would have to SHOW 8 dead pixels before the manufacturer (Samsung) would honor their defective replacement warranty. You may encounter the same with the NAV...Originally Posted by Glazeworld

I had to get my NAV replaced because the joystic/mouse thing stopped working. I had no resistance what-so-ever. On the contrary, the dealer I visited was very friendly and had great customer service. This is the first dealer (Honda or Dodge) that I've actually been happy with. They looked at my NAV, told me that it was broken, and that they'd REPLACE it. I think I even got the newer DVD with the NAV.
Nice!! that is what you paid for (warranty built in to the cost of the purchase).Originally Posted by Glazeworld
