Well I did compression test on 3 stock HEMI vehicles today. Here are the results:

06 CSRT8 6.1 unknown miles (I forgot to check, but it's not many)- 195 psi
    04 Ram 5.7 40k miles - 175 psi
    03 Ram 5.7 100k miles - 170 psi

Kyle, didn't you change cams? What's the lift on the new cam vs. the rating on the springs? If the cam has more lift than the springs are rated at, you might have bent a valve. That would cause compression leaks as well as oil loss.

    Thanks Scott...Good info for all.

Sean, yes, recently changed my cam and got my times down some and increased my MPH....Car is running stronger now than it ever has. The oil consumption began since date of pick up...but thanks for the suggestion...Before the cam change my springs weren't in question...STU and Kelly set my heads up and knew the springs i have...my current cam/spring combo seems to be matched up just fine. I've had oil comsumption and high times since delivery...you rememeber back then when we PM'd that i was complaining of lack of low end power/torque and high 60' times and ET's.

Seems like a solution is in the works...we'll see soon...

I would like to offer an apology for ruining a good thread about a very impressive run....AND...to anyone i offended about questioning Marty's faith of christianity...After rereading it, i was out of line and should have never said that. You say or type things when your upset that you later regret...and i am sorry.
