Well technically not fixed. It's an intermittent problem and it's acting up again.
Noticed it real bad yesterday. Lower rpms with some load it bucks and lags. I can get it to downshift if I give it more throttle but if it doesn't down shift then it's annoying. Snapped a video of it acting up, I'll get them up later today. Having the corsa exhaust helps because u can really hear it struggling. Im starting to wonder if the tranny is slipping a little

I've been following this thread cause I'm having the same problem in my '09 charger r/t. Was hoping the camshaft sensor would fix it but apparently not. Hopefully we can figure this out because yes, it is very annoying. I'm at 37k miles and read that a transmission flush might help. Anyone try that yet with favorable results?

Check your EGR - mine was failing slowly for months and I was getting bucking/surging with light throttle. I replaced the MAP, Cam position sensor and PCV - which helped a little but didn'ty solve the problem. One day it felt like it was going to stall and finally gave me a code which pointed to the EGR. After replacement, the car is smooth in all ranges of the throttle.

Ok, here are some vids i took. Again better if you listen on computer speakers and the changes and fluctuations in the exhaust tone is what really shows the problem. The second video is a little easier to hear it. In this videos, my throttle postion stayed the same and did not fluctuate but yet you can here fluctuations in the car and see it slightly on the needle.
As far as the EGR goes, I know in my Ford Diesel truck, they make kits to remove the egr/bypass it. Anything like this for the LX? if its causing problems and I can remove it you best believe it will be outter here.
BT makes an EGR delete.
You could try disconnecting the EGR electrical connector temporarily - you'll get a code and I think MDS won't work, but you test the theory at least (should be smoother if it is indeed the problem).
The '09-'10's don't have egr if I'm not mistaken, at least not a block off section. But I don't know what it could be. It seems like the tranny doesn't know what to do, doesn't want to downshift when you need the power, hesitates when you want to go. I thought resetting the TCM would help but not really. Some days car runs great, other days you wonder whats going on. Definitely frustrating.

Well, i think its the tranny. I think it might be slipping. Its getting worse and today when getting on an on ramp under a load of about 3k rpm it felt like the car was jumping a little so I called my Stealership and its going in next week. Took my Intake and Intune off so they cant pull any "voided warranty" crap. Ill post back when I find out what it is.
Im not taking my exhaust off but i cant see that having any issues with the warranty right? If its the tranny Id hate for them to say its cuz of the exhaust and then I have to cover it.
Dealer called this morning. Said they couldnt find anything or really feel any problems on the test drive (I knew that would happen). So it looks like Im going to have to diagnose this myself or wait till it gets even worse to the point where they will feel the problem. They did find worn out outer tie rod ends so atleast my trip wasnt wasted.
I mentioned the EGR and mechanic said that if anything was wrong with the EGR it would throw a code and I have no codes. Could anything be wrong with the computer or EGR and not throw a code?

Your EGR could be acting up without throwing a code. Mine did. I replaced the cam position sensor, PCV, cleaned TB, etc and nothing made the rpm surge go completely away. I drove it with the surging/hesitation for a few months until it got really bad like it wanted to stall - and then finally threw a code for EGR. Once it was replaced, the car felt 100% normal again.
As stated before, 09+ 5.7 Eagle engines do not have EGR. Only pre 09 have EGR. If confused, look at front of intake manifold on passenger side near the intake tube and you will not see and metal canister or metal tube connecting from head/exhaust to intake.I mentioned the EGR and mechanic said that if anything was wrong with the EGR it would throw a code and I have no codes.
