1st Oil change....

Ok had my first oil change done today 3000 miles ...if you want to laugh i didnt drive the car on sunday because i would have went over a little.I had an appointment for 1st thing this morning, so i arrived with 3004 on it i know i nuts right... :-D i used my Mom's truck yesterday not to put unwanted miles on my car...Anyway after they were donethe service tech walked up to me gave me the keys i walked in to pay and i asked how much..he gave my an invoice and on it was 0.00 I said how much do i owe you he said nothing i sadi why,he said what do you want to pay for an oil change...i laughed he said see ya at 6000 miles...Now comes the funny part i didnt even buy the car there i had the tsb window pop done there which is perfect now but wow No charge... Also i know they used 5w20 because i say the bottle's they were using and my motor seems to be a little noisier now the before did anyone notice this after there 1st oil change???Thanks sorry for the long post too... :lol:

Glad to hear you had a good experience.

I need to get mine in since I am over 3000 but was wodering about going to a diff dealer because I paid cash and that dealer is 20 miles on the other side of town.
I have 2 dealers close to me Gulfgate half a mile and Allen Samuels bout 2 miles.. lol

I would think they would enjoy having a new customer. But first I need to find some how to check there reputations..

Yeah all and all i like this dealer..they seem to be pretty friendly and fast,i waited for my car i went there at 8am it was done by 850 am i was home by 9 so i will be using them as long as they keep up the good work...

UNLESS IT'S FREE, WHY USE A DEALER???!!!! I don't get it. . .
(except you're getting other warranty stuff checked / handled -- one stop shop -- OK, I buy that).

I use a KWIK LUBE (same as a JIFFY LUBE) and watch them do the whole thing -- no mistake on them putting in the wrong oil.

I drive past it twice a day -- I only go in when they're not busy -- 10 minutes later I'm done --really easy.

I have nothing against jiffy lube,quick lube or any of those places i probably will use them too,but i wanted the first oil change done by the dealer ..I will be doing my oil changes myself to sometimes (lazy) not really i have an older car i keep up too...so i think its easier to just have it done...
