Would like to remove the chrysler badge on the boot.

    Hi guys,

I'm thinking of removing the chrysler badge thats on the boot.

But I don't know if it is fitted with double sided tape or screwed in place...

If double sided tape is used, is it a hassel to clear the tape after removing the badge? and will there be issue's with the paint underneath it?

Newbie here, so please be patient with my questions.

    Thanx guys. :-)

    Reza

Being gentle! It's on with adhesive. There are good tips here for removal of badges. Most use fishing line. The only issue with paint might be if there were any fading of the paint on the car, the paint under the badge may be original color, but I doubt this will be a problem for you. Good luck.

    It isn't easy being GREEN

There are also 2 locating pins that will leave you with 2 small holes in the trunk behind the badge.

    LOL.

Boot = Trunk on the other side of the pond. Just like Touring = Wagon, and Saloon = Sedan.

I know, I just get sarcastic when I'm tired

And generally, Estate = Wagon too

I think the first reply is wrong.

Like someone else said. There are going to be two holes in your trunk when you remove the Chrsyler wing.

I love the Chrysler logo. It looks better than Mercedes or BMW. Why remove it?
