    that is the upper radiator support.

    smack dab in the middle is the airbag sensor.

    sweet. how much did you pay for it. i used to work on old rides that i got like that but dont know nearly enough to attempt anything like what you are doing. keep us updated.

    That aside, I'm so jealous. I want to get my hands REALLY dirty on something like this and just don't have the time or luxury to do it anymore. I did a lot of work (and am still doing it) on my 06 C but nothing as extensive. Not only is that car mint, but it's a build. I'm just...just jealous. Subscribed tho.

    All interior parts are ordered!

    here is a listing of what the dealer wanted vs. what I paid

    Steering column Assembly $1,580 DEALER - I paid $120 (got it off of another SRT8)

    Clock spring $82 - I paid $29 (NEW)

    Dashboard $525 - I paid $650 (includes both airbags)

    Steering wheel $574 - I paid $229 (NEW, limited edition from charger superbee)

    Steering wheel airbag $534 - I paid nothing (came with dashboard set)

    Dashboard airbag $662 - I paid nothing (came with dashboard set)

    Drivers seatbelt $262 - I paid $207 (NEW)

    Passenger seatbelt $140 - I paid $110 (NEW)



    Total from dealership... $4359

    I paid... $1345

    Total saved... $3014

    I'm very good at shopping around.

    column was slightly bet at the tip where it connects to the steering wheel.

    the columns are designed to absorb any impact from the driver (in the process bending)
    the steering wheels are very easily bent as well.
