I.
HATE.
YOU.
That aside, I'm so jealous. I want to get my hands REALLY dirty on something like this and just don't have the time or luxury to do it anymore. I did a lot of work (and am still doing it) on my 06 C but nothing as extensive. Not only is that car mint, but it's a build. I'm just...just jealous. Subscribed tho.
That harness should not be that bad to repair.

All interior parts are ordered!
here is a listing of what the dealer wanted vs. what I paid
Steering column Assembly $1,580 DEALER - I paid $120 (got it off of another SRT8)
Clock spring $82 - I paid $29 (NEW)
Dashboard $525 - I paid $650 (includes both airbags)
Steering wheel $574 - I paid $229 (NEW, limited edition from charger superbee)
Steering wheel airbag $534 - I paid nothing (came with dashboard set)
Dashboard airbag $662 - I paid nothing (came with dashboard set)
Drivers seatbelt $262 - I paid $207 (NEW)
Passenger seatbelt $140 - I paid $110 (NEW)
Total from dealership... $4359
I paid... $1345
Total saved... $3014
Great deals your getting. Why replace the column? Was it bent?
I'm very good at shopping around.
column was slightly bet at the tip where it connects to the steering wheel.
the columns are designed to absorb any impact from the driver (in the process bending)
the steering wheels are very easily bent as well.
