I'm with stupid -^
And if those are AAC led halos do yourself a favor and take them out now. Biggest POS's ever.
For the life of me I can't figure out why its so difficult to have leds that don't burn out or better yet. Leds that take a longer time to go out. My buddies g35 has led tails that have lasted years without a single led to go out, same thing with cadillacs and other cars... I don't know if these vendors are using cheap leds or what but for 50bucks each ring (200 for both lights) it doesn't seem cheap at all. Maybe the leds aren't meant to be in a sealed location, or the heat is killing them or something.
Has anyone on here had led halos for a year with all the leds still functioning?
I don't know why I'm getting so pissed when I haven't even hooked them up yet lol. Its sad but I'm going to do my best to use them as infrequently as possible for fear of them going out. Its amazing how a car can go from cool to really freaking stupid with a bunch of burnt out leds in the front.
I've had my halo's for the last 3 years. I've had my lights apart 5 times because of them. burnt out LED's, burnt resisters, rings that wouldn't work altogether.
Awesome mod, NOT so awesome when they don't work. I will be taking mine out, its unfortunate because I love the look of them, but they are just not worth the hassle anymore!
How often do you use them?
Everytime I drive my car, which is alot.
I don't use any of the functions, just simple on and off.
I've left them on for hours at a time, i'm talking overnight for 8-10 hours without issue.

I've left my halos on for weekends at a time (indoor car shows). I've had my lights apart 5 times in the last 3 years. Its annoying, and embarrassing when people come up to you and say you have something burnt out.
It may be worth it to you guys to fix them over and over again. Not to me anymore. As I promise you one day they will burn out.
I swear halos are like buying a damn hampster. They are cute but you know they have a short lifespan. You could get lucky and have one that lives 5 years. Or you could get the short end of the stick and get one that lives 3 months. Either way when they die they are morbidly obese and getting them out of the cage is a complete disaster.
Hahaha nice comparison!
Guess I've just been lucky.
I could only imagine if I went the ccfl way.
tried to paint rims myself.... FAIL.
back from powdercoating!

The rims look great! Are you going to highlight the "SRT" with a different color?
A highlight would look amazing I agree!!
