    Upgraded Kicker Speakers

I just installed the upgraded Kicker Speakers (door and rear deck) in our 2006 300 Touring AWD. These are made especially for Mopar and fit 300's and Magnums. The car came with the single disc stock radio and the sound was just to flat. The upgraded Kicker Speakers sound great. I would recommend them, they are just right. I installed them myself simple bolt in just like originals down to the wiring hook-up. I bought them from WyckoffChrysler.com.

Did you install them without the amp?

I plan on doing the same in the spring.

Yes, no amp. We bought the car off the lot and I was disappointd in the sound quality of the stock speakers. The Kickers are definately a big improvement over the stock speakers. I'm totally pleased with the sound now.

Thats the difference between cheap stock speakers with "whizzer" cones and speakers with tweeters (coaxials). Whats sad is that even the $20 "lightning" Walmart coarials sound better than stock. Just wait til you get the bug later and put in some dash speakers. It raises up the sound stage and will sound like a complete different vehicle.

Sounds Good!.... Thanks for the heads up.

I have a CSRT8 with the factory NAV system. I am looking at upgrading the sound system without changing the head unit.

I wonder if I would get the same gains? I believe I have Boston Acoustic speakers as stock???

I would like to add an amp and sub as well. Looking for input from those that have had success with their sound systems...

I don't want to mislead people, remember I have the stock one disc CD radio that had the stock bottom of the line factory speakers. I'm sure if I had your sound system with the Boston Accoustic speakers that I would have been plenty happy with that setup.

Yep! Since the door panels are off, may as well do it.
