    Rental 300 Touring

Well went to Missouri last weekend for a non-wedding. When we got to the car rental office at the airport I thought what the hell maybe rent a Mustang and see what all the hype is about. As luck would have it they didn't have any. Then I asked for a 300. The woman behind the counter said "sure we have one of those".

A nice 06 Cool Vanilla Touring, 3.5L AWD it was very nice, very quite (to quite for me) smooth ride and the 3.5 is a very good engine.
Everyone was making fun of me because I wanted to detail it. Lucky for me the beer took over and changed my mind.

So the wedding didn't happen, but I got to drive a different LX all weekend and loved it (not enough to give up my Mag).

The beer was cold, the food was good and I got to see family I haven't seen in about 5 years. So I guess it wasn't a total loss.
Oh and the speed limit was 75 MPH! The roads were straight and flat for miles. If it weren't for the evil eye from the wife I would have tried out the speed limiter. My sister who flew out with us wants one more then ever now.The 3.5s move very well.

For the 300s, Stone White is only available with fleet sales. Cool Vanilla is the retail color. Hard to tell which it is since it was a rental and could have been a fleet sale.
