Removing Mirrors From Housing

Does anyone know how to pull the side view mirrors out of the housing so i can get at the motors inside? Im guessing it snaps into a socket of some sort,,,but im afraid to just yank on it for fear of screwing up the motors.

I changed mine out for Robin's original ones. I ended up breaking one but got the other one out okay. It's hard because not only are the mirrors clipped in but there is sticky stuff on the backs. The trick is to get your fingers behing the mirror and bend 2 or 3 of the clips back at the same time. Don't worry about the motors. The mirrors have some sort of clutch and will ratchet around.
