    problems with headlights

    am having a problem with some pretty bad oxidation on my headights and im not sure if its inside or outside ill post some pics soon anyway i want to remove them so i can work on them a little easier is there any trick to this and do i have to reaim them or should i be able to take them out polish and put right back in?

    otherwise i found new pair for 250$ so what should i do anyone?

    Try to use the Porter Cable and some good polish like Menzerna, then lift the hood and get at the headlights!

    My Jeep had the same problem. My wife walked into NAPA and they sold her for 10 bucks this kit w/ 6 pads and the drill attachment.. You spray the pad w/ water it activates the compound, keep the drill under 1200 rpms and presto after about5-10 minutes 90% oxidation is gone. Good luck.

    yea i guess im gonna have this local shop wet sand and polish them for me i just dont have that much time to do it myself trying to get my business started

    works great by hand or with a polisher/buffer..

    been a member over at meguiars online for a while now beleive me i tried the stuff worked a little but they have to be wet sanded without a doubt i wonder why though the car has real bad pitting on the headlights and the windshield
