Need help: transmission

I'm sure there are many other posts on the issue I'm having. I just don't know what to call it or search for, so I'm hoping someone can assist. I've got an '05 300C (69K) and the transmission is slipping or pulsating between 30 mph and 40 mph.

I assume you have the 5-speed? Mine is not happy at 30mph, right on the edge of wanting to shift up a gear but then a tiny touch of the pedal and it wants to downshift, gives that floaty feeling, but no issues once I get up a bit faster...get your tranny fluid level checked, there is no dipstick, the dealer has to do it for you...the fill level is based on both quantity of fluid and tranny temperature combined....
