lighting up the red lens on the doors?

I have been thinking of lighting the red lens on each door, simple enought to splice into the bottom light, has anyone done this or know a part that will interchange with the red lens that already has a light

i havent seen a part that will interchange with it but u can try throwing a led in there

i changed the lower foot lights to blue led's and it looks sick at night

i used 3 volt led's with a 1k ohm resistor to take the 12 volt down to 3 volt
its by far my favourite mod so far
