    Lead-time for a 300C in "D" status?

Can anyone tell me what is a typical lead-time for delivery of a 300C in "D" status? The car will be delivered to a dealership in Kansas City, MO.

There is no easy answer. I've had 'D' cars maove quickly through 'D' status, and others sit for weeks.... 300C's are coming very slow right now. A couple that have been in 'D' just went to 'D1', which is an ORDER with a firm build date. That's what you want to hear, as the process moves along FROM there pretty good. Once it's built, your dealer will be able to see an ETA. Just remember that DCX puts a disclaimer right below the ETA saying that it is an estimate, not a promise of delivery date. Maybe since some of mine have started to move, yours will, too. Good Luck

    NJ Paul,

Thanks for the heads up. My Volvo S80 lease expires Oct. 4. My dealer is going to put me in another car until my 300C gets in. Not a big deal if I have to wait a little longer. It's just that I keep HAVING 300C sightings and it makes me want it right now!

Had to turn in my Volvo S80 yesterday and went to pick up my loaner car FROM the dealer since my 300C is stil in "D" status. There's good and bad about this. The good is that as long as I am waiting for my 300C to get in, my loaner is free. Really nice to not have a lease payment. The bad is that I am now driving an '04 Dodge Stratus!!! Ugh...nothing like driving around in a "fleet" car for the next 2 to 3, 4, 5...weeks. God I hope my 300C goes to "D1" soon.
