    Killed a Mustang GT tonight

Hypothetically speaking, would my 2006 300c be faster than a 2006 Mustang GT? stock vs stock.

For instance on the track? And also at higher speeds? Like at the 1 mile mark event coming up down here in FL.

I guess a quick glance of the rules would be beneficial.... my bad. I guess if I have these kind of questions, I should ask in a hypothetical style huh?

edit: who do I ask to close the thread for me? and BTW what about my question? stock vs stock, is the 300c faster?

My first IBTL . It's best to keep the racing at the track.

Sounds like you had a good time but LX Forums doesnt allow street racing stories at all. Now if you were at a track and had run him........

I'm afraid if I do find a local track and go, I will start to invest heavily into the motor and I don't wanna do that and also I would like to keep her warranty intact as long as possible.

But again thanks for letting me know, I'll go through the rules in the next day or so, before I make another thread that is questionable anyways.

Not every Mustang owner can shift well or launch at the track. They don't have a lot of torque. There is one at my local eighth mile track that has fat M/T drag radials. She launches so hard that she lifts 1 sometimes 2 front wheels, yet her eighth mile times are only 8.8 sec or so. In spite of the wheelie, at about the 60' mark it falls on its face. The owner, a serious lady racer has been beaten by every hemi LX car that she has faced. I watched Rich Miller's 392 stroker Magnum clobber her 7.3 sec to a 8.9 sec. That was a bad whoopin. Hey get her to the track. Win or loose you'll have a blast.

While not a 300, my Magnum hasn't lost yet to a Mustnag at the track (only place I race, ever) - with the caveat that it's not sprayed or blown...

I've probably run 50+ times against 'em and <knock wood> always pulled the win light.

One poor guy I used to beat every week sprang for $7K worth of supercharger bits just to 'put me in my place'. Ok, so now he's a mid 12 second car...

For most of those races I didn't have the Sidewinder, so it really was bolt-on against bolt-on, mostly stock...
