    It's Official - Turned in my Lease

    Well today I turned back in my lease. Chrysler would not deal with me and gave me a raw deal on the planned buy out of my 300 SRT. I made lots of mods to my car over the last 3 years and had to remove them all. Thanks to Hemi31 and RobAGD for the help on the parts swap weekend. I have a few things to sell, some of which I've already sold, but a few things went to Rob and Erik for helping me. I've got some axles left that need to go to DSS for a rebuild to proper length before I can sell those.

    Anyways, while Alice and I are awaiting her Charger lease to run out and for the job fairy to come, we won't be away from the LX fold for long. A Challenger will hopefully be in the driveway by Xmas. In the meantime, I took all this as a sign or an excuse to look around the market and low and behold something caught my eye....a 2006 Mercedes CLS 500 with only 15K mile no less. While smaller and not as fast, its pretty cool and sexy and all that. I'll miss the 300 for sure.

    too bad you lost your 300, i'm sure the Benz will be a nice ride for you in the meantime till you find another Modern Mopar!!

    Bummer about the 300! You should've done a front-clip swap with a Magnum right before turning it in, and see if they'd give you a discount.

    But yea, hopefully that Benz treats you well, and you get yourself a shiny new chally.
