Instrument panel glitched??

2006 300c SRT8.

Today on my way to work (1.5 mile drive) at a steady 30mph all of the idiot lights came on. When I looked down they all went off except for the seat belt light, which I was wearing. A moment later that light went out too and all of the gauges dropped to zero and immediately bounced back to the correct positions.

This happened once and nothing else was observed to be malfuntioning. The power level did not change.

It acted normally for the next few minutes as I drove around the block to see if it would do it again.

WTF??

Anyone else ever experience this or something similar?

I lost my speedo two weeks ago, but everything else seems OK...

ME TOO!! Every light on off....dings....gauges go all the way down then pop back up. WTF??? It has done it a total of about 5 to 8 times in last few months. I have no idea what it is either.

i had something similar the other day, started the car, none of the guages came alive and all the idiot lights were on. Everything worked normal, revs etc just no function. So shut down restarted worekd fine.

An intermittent electrical problem is my worst nightmare. In my experience dealerships are not only unwilling but unable to figure these things out whether it warranty work or not. If they do they just start throwing parts at the car and invoices at the customer. SOB!

you also gotta look at it from there side, intermittent problems, espically electrical are extremely difficult to find. Unless it does it at the exact moment they are there and looking for it, its all a big guesing game. All you can do without actualyl seeing the issue, is take the customes story of what happend, and just go from component to compontent. Unfotunaly like stated above, that can be several trips and several parts later.
