How to get bumper molding back in place?

I thought there was threads on this but searching didnt find anything. My molding isnt attached very well. The previous owner tried to fix it with double sided tab but its not a flat service so it didnt work. Any ideas on how this can be attached better?



I pulled the molding out a bit here so you can see it better. It doesnt look that bad but I would like to keep it tight.



here is the left over double sided tape. The inside of the molding isnt flat. It has two ridges that I guess hold it out from the bumper to give it the right shape. Is there a clip that the molding should be hooking into?

I would put a couple dabs of 5 min epoxy in the spots next to the tab. Hold it in place with some blue masking tape for about 15 to 30 mins and it should be fine.

Not sure how its meant to be attached, but I definitely agree w/ ^^. JBWeld, GorillaGlue, epoxy, etc... a few dabs should do the trick for a while.

That tab on the back of the trim should be what holds it there. If it's not doing the trick, then epoxy will work fine. Just don't use TOO much or it'll become permanent :-)

It takes a wedge clip . I would imagine the same one that holds in the fogs and Grille on Magnums.

If that doesn't work, there was a thread over of 300cforums about some metal plates and a bolt and nut that goes on the inside, try looking that up...

PS: I would try the glue/epoxy route myself.
