Here's something I don't think has ever been done to a Chrysler 300

So awhile back my good friend Dan asked me to assist him in figuring out how to put 2 gauges into his buddy Chris' 300C SRT without detracting too much from the original look of the interior.

car is getting a 426 Stroker, with a Supercharger, and a boost and A/F gauge need to be installed. (gauges in the pictures where just some dummy gauges I had to test fit, disregard that they are not boost and A/F).

Chris didn't want a pillar pod, or any pods mounted on the dash, he wanted to keep the cabin area as stock as possible, and not take away from the OEM look.

so the thought was to integrate the gauges into the center radio bezel..

    so.....

seeing as I work for a company that does stainless steel manufacturing..

I got onto AutoCad and made a template of a Radio bezel, incorporated 2 holes for gauges where the clock originally was..

punched it out in stainless steel, used some heavy grade steel epoxy and attached it to the OEM bezel, then used the dremel to cut out the plastic behind the stainless cover in the shapes of the gauges.

clock is totally removed from the car, and I used my star scan to activate the clock feature on the REC Nav unit (like the Dodge vehicles get) so that Chris has a clock, and the hazard button and ESP button housing was relocated to below the trunk release button and grafted into the lower dash part.

so here is the end result of the radio bezel, not in the car yet, but it looks sweet..

Painted it Silver to match the steering controls and the lower steering wheel blanks:

    do you want one?

I can punch another frame and you can attach/mod it to your bezel yourself.

*edit* wait you have a Magnum, different bezel, not sure I can so it to the Magnum bezel because of the horizontal vents.

Don't want the gauges, want to get rid of the esp/hazard switch and relocate those to simple pushbutton types, and add a panel-mount USB connector and some A/V jacks. It can wait a while but it's good to know you can do it!!!

it would be a "dash Kit" style cover punched in stainless that you glue over the bezel, but if you have the design yeah I can do it..

already have the base design for the REC and HVAC controls in AutoCad, so adjusting the top part shouldn't be too hard.
