well it has been quite a bit of time since i have posted on here. my job has me traveling almost every week around the nation and i have tried to stay on top of things during that time by getting a free second to pull the forums up. well during that time i have a buddy that is a painter and has begged me for quite some time to paint my car. he finally won me over with "if you dont like it i can paint it back factory color or any other color you want, free of charge". to be honest with you i would bet that i drive this car maybe 1-2 times every couple of months, so what the hell, lets do it. after that i was gone on work for 8 weeks and the only thing that i knew about my car was what people were telling me over the phone. there were a couple of phases that went into this and we are actually not quite done with it yet. my only input into it was that i told him i would possibly hurt him if he did a run of the mill tu tone paint job on my car. well i am a pretty big boy and i guess he didnt want that to happen so he started at the bottom of the car and went crazy with it. he took it to a few shows and wond trophy's and i suggested if we were going to paint it to do something wild like airbrushing. that was phase 2. now 12 coats of clear later this is what my pictures are going to show. the only thing left now is to do some minor things like finishing the door jambs and doing some crazy fiberglassing with paint in the trunk. well with that being said, here you go--here is my 300
