    Heavy Duty Hood Shocks ???

I have the mirrored stainless hood panel on my 300C and now that winter is coming around, the hood shocks do not want to hold the hood up. I am sure it is due to the extra weight.

Does anyone know of a good heavy duty replacement that won't need any fabrication to implement?

    As always, thanks in advance.

If you're not showing the car outside in the winter, I'd suggest trying to pick up a prop rod from someone that removed theirs and tossing it on for the season.

a small set of vice grips always works well in the shop.
or a hood prop of course. ^^
