    get thee...

get a Diablo handheld, this is vital to tune after the next step.

Now you need heads, cam, and a torque converter. Then a proper CMR dyno tune with your Diablo. After that all you need is traction and some driving skills.

If I'm not mistaken, the 5.7 is a small block!

The cheapest way to hit 12's would be nitrous. Better though would to do headers,hi flow cats and a good cat back, then do heads and cam and finally a tuner, if you get the Predator you can get it CMR tuned. The problem is that you can buy a SRT8 that will run close to 12's stock probably cheaper than modding a 300C and you will have better, motor, brakes, tires and wheels, seats, suspension, etc. Of course if you mod out a SRT8 you may see 11's or even 10's. Hey, I used to drive ricers too. I'm better now.
