Easy on the scraper, as long as you keep the leading edge of the goo warm, you will only need the scraper to get an edge lifted. Then it is hand pulling and thumb rolling of left over goo. 3M adhesive remover is much better than goo gone and it is designed for autos. Good luck and have the pics posted soon.

I used WD-40 to get them off, then goo gone to clen what was left. No heat gun needed.

be for warned, the 05's , well the Magnums did anyhow, some had blisters behind the door moulding.

whatever you use to de-adhease (if it wasn't a word before, it is now) the adhesive, let it sit for a solid 15 minutes - don't rush. I found that the one I took off first after waiting about 7-8 mins was much tougher than the one I let sit for a full 15. Patience is a virtue when you're doing this!

Not that I would want to put back on the moldings, but I save all my old stock pieces just in case I want to bring the car back to stock. If you pull the molding off at an aggressive angle to the door, the underlying chrome strip in the molding gets all wrinkled up. If you want to preserve the moldings, then pull lightly and at a 45degree angle. 90 will definitely mess with the chrome strip. You have to go a little slower at 45, but as mgrasber said, patience.

I just left the car in the sun for awhile. Be very cautious with the scraper. Thumb rolling and 3M adhesive remover worked for me. My thumbs didn't like me for a few hours after but they got over it.

Unless you're prepared for a strip of paint bubbles under the front mouldings, usually only the drivers side, don't do it.
The early build 05's,,, had this problem, the moulding was put on before the paint was cured causing bubbles to form.
There are a ton of threads on this problem, which MOST STEALERSHIPS will not cover under warranty.
I took mine off, found the bubbles, MY STEALERSHIP and Chrysler laughed at me.
I had to have a bodyshop sand the bubbles out, and reclearcoat the door.

    Proceed at your own sanity.

Lets hope he checked here before he removed it. I know I would be mad if I found some bubbles under the trim!

When I got mine off, there was still a thin line on the top, even thinner on the top. I had a place take care of that for me, they used rubbing compound. The guy charged me $5 but I gave them $20 because I was so happy to get those lines off! I had used WD40 and it got all the sticky stuff off, this was just residue from dirt and stuff laying on the edges of the molding over the last 3 - 4 years I think.

Forget the heat gun and scraper....
Do you have some fishing line? That is what I used (in a "sawing" motion) to seperate the moulding from the door for about 4 inches then I just gently pulled it off. Use the "thumb roll" technique to remove excess glue before using the 3M adhesive remover.
Then buff wax twice. You may have some very slight discoloration but it will fade out in about a month...... and after another couple of good buff wax jobs.
