First 300 Die Cast Available 1:64

Kind of cheesy, but it's the first 300 Die Cast:

    Hot Wheels, Chrysler 300C Blings™

This car may be small, but its style and detail make it larger than life. 1:64 scale. Recommended for children three and up. Available in: Metallic Silver.

Yeah, they have been in the stores around here for about a month. They have been on ebay for about 3 now.
    I bought mine at Target.

The regular one was available FROM Chrysler, but they sold out FAST. I ordered and was not charged because they were back ordered. Just talked to them yesterday and was told they have some in stock and are shipping to the folks (ME!!) that had them back ordered. They were so far behind (sound familiar?) that they even took it off the gift page.

What company makes the regular one? Should be able to find it somewhere else if you know what brand it is.

Got an Email FROM DC saying mine has shipped. I'll look at the thing and see if I can determine the maker for you ... when it gets here.

It is not "bling", but is a Magnesium C just like my big one. However it looks to have color mirrors, not chrome. Oh well.

I got the same e-mail for the die cast I ordered over 4 moths ago. It was shipped
and should be here next week.

I ordered the Cool Vanilla die cast so it would match my Cool Vanilla real car.
If I ever get the real car that is.

I ordered both my real car, and the die cast within the same week, and I still do not
have either. But since the die cast is now coming, maybe the Chrysler gods will finally
get my real car out of BX, and build it for me before the end of the year. But I bet not...

For those of you who have ordered the diecast 1:18 scale, where do you put in the color you want? I tried the link provided but there wasn't a place to put in the color I wanted.

Actually, the diecasts FROM the Chrysler website that I originally saw were 1:34 scale. You could input
the color you wanted at that time.

The one you are describing must be something different than the ones they had
    before.

I got my Cool Vanilla C, 1:34 scale on friday. It is not bad for 4 bucks. Its all metal, has front
doors that open, but nothing else opens. The interior is black.

The funny thing is, these are called "Pull" cars. Meaning, you put them on the floor,
pull them backwards about a foot or so, they have a little windup motor inside that
    will propell them forward.

I wish I had thought to ORDER more than one back then, as they are VERY hard to come
by now, and it took 4 months to get the one I have.

I have seen some on e-bay already, and one went for over 50 bucks!!

Got my Magnesium C the other day, really quite nice for 4 USD! Nothing special mind you, but I've sure seen worse for more money. I didn't even notice it had the friction motor until I read the post by CJ7 !!! Duh. Thanks CJ!
