Firebird Raceway drag racing this Friday (12/3)!

For those Phoenix area residents, I'll be at Firebird Raceway this Friday evening for the drags with my Inferno Red Magnum RT, along with bobf and his Mineral Grey RT. It would be a good chance for you on-the-fencers to listen to his Magnaflow cat-back and my Magnaflow mufflers with resonators removed exhaust.
Obviously, we welcome any Magnum or 300 wanting to come out as well! So I know who to look for, just reply to this or PM me, and we'll hook up at the track! Should be a good time, especially with the cool temps we've been having.

Sounds great. I want to try to get an early start before it cools off too much. Gates open at 6pm and hot track at 7. I'm expecting to be there about 6:30 or so for inspection.

There's a new Freeway exit that exits a little before the track. I think it's Maricopa Road. When you get to the track, go in the first gate you get to and follow the road to the left. Pay at the gate and keep left about 1/8 mile to get inspected.

Keep your speed down!! They are sticklers about this.

Hi guys I'll make it over also, but at this time I don't want to race it, is there access to the pits FROM general admission? I would love to see everyone's Magnum.

Yes there is access. $10 to get in an additional $7 to race. Go to the same entrance for both.

Any reason you're not interested in racing?

the reason I don't want to race is first, only 500 miles on the Cool Vanilla beauty, and I tend to go all out if I get the drag race bug , the last time I took a 69 Vette (427 c i) and raced it stock one time, wound up making it a strictly drag car, it was a blast but a very expensive use of a corvetteI. :oops: figured I'd watch one time at least. Amazing!! As hard as mine was to find, I thought they outlawed gray in Arizona and mine slipped through the cracks somehow.
