Faint bell when I open my door

Hi folks. I've read some posts here about people hearing a bell when they get out of their car. Some said it might be the parking break, others said it might be an EVIC warning of some sort.. ie change oil..

I had this too, and finally found out what it was. My phone. Once I open the door, and the electronics shuts off, my uconnect disconnects, and my phone lets off a very faint 2 note beep.

Amazing how long it takes to track down dings rattles and beeps. Even when it is one as simple as that.

Yeah, that drove me a bit batty for a while also till I realized I didn't hear it when I didn't have my phone.

The homelink system also generates those faint beeps if you program it *nod*
