    Cargo Net Question

Hello to all the 300 owners. I have a favor to ask. Could someone please take a few pictures of the attachment points in the trunk for the cargo net? I would like to use the same type of net in my Magnum and want to know what I need to do to make it work. Basically I think I just neet to add the two upper loops.

    TIA

    Thanks hemi dawg!

Those pictures are somewhat disappointing though as those anchors look like they are built INTO the car. I'll actually have to rig something up now. Thanks for the pics though. 8)

Mike2thaC - I went to the dealer the other day to try and ORDER a cargo net, but they didn't have one listed. I did some research online and found that the Caravan has one and the Pacifica has one. The net for the Pacifica was quite a bit cheaper than the one for the Caravan, not sure why. If you do a search online for Cargo Net Envelope Type, you should find them.

I may buy the one for the Pacifica or at least look at one to see if it will work in my Magnum.

My car came with a cargo net. No part number on it though. It was just in the car when it I took delivery. I have an R/T also.

I have a net as well, but it's not the envelope style that's in the 300C. the Magnum comes with the type that holds things down to the floor. the 300C comes with the type that stretches across the width of the car and you can put things in it. look at the pictures hemi dawg posted to see what I mean.

went to the dealer yesterday to get my auto headlight switch and ordered the cargo net that is in the 300C. according to the parts guy, the part number is 4628931AB. List is $32. I'll get it tomorrow and confirm that it is the envelope type cargo net.

Now I need to figure out how I'm going to hook it up back there.

I ordered my Magnum RT with the Cargo organizer package. It came with a cargo net in plastic shrink wrap. It looks like they gave me the one that's supposed to go in the 300 because there is no way this envelope style net will fit in the Magnum. Does anyone have any pics of the net that's supposed to be in the Magnum? I'd like to make sure before I take this back to my dealer. Did anyone get a cargo net with their magnum that is different from this one?
    Here's some pics:

That looks like the right one...the net clips in at all 4 corners of the hatch area (top left and right by seats, bottom left and right by bumper) and your "cargo" goes underneath it, held in place by the net. It doesn't work the same way the cargo net in car trunks works where they form a little "pouch" this netting goes over the whole trunk area.
Man's biggest mistake is to believe that he's working for someone else.

That's where I thought it should clip, but there is no way that this net will clip to those areas. It is far too narrow, and won't stretch far enough to fit those cargo tie-downs. I tried to show in the second photo that it indeed does have the "pouch" that you describe. As far as I can tell, it is exactly the one pictured earlier in this thread in the trunk of a 300. I guess I'll take it back to the dealer and ask for the correct one.
