    Buzz Sound When Starting!!!

This has happened twice in the past 2 weeks, while turning the key to start the car I get this buzz sound for about 2 secounds from the cluster/center dash area. All the dash lights in cluster go on than off as usually with nothing out of the ordinary that I can see, any ideas??????

I thought maybe I was hitting a button on key while starting and this was causing sound but I couldn't duplicate.

Sometimes the heat shield from my exhaust makes a buzz sound on start up. Start your car with the doors open and see if it is louder. Listen from underneath.

No, not a heat shield or fuel pump sound. This is a deep electronic buzz that lasted for about 2 seconds when turning key to start engine.

Doesn't sound promising. Any electrical "buzz" will only get worse or strand you at the most inopportune time. Take it in. Fnkychkn may have heard of something like this if he's around. My best guess would be they will need to replace something at the dealer, no software flash will cure a bad part. Unless you have climate control set to auto maybe and you are hearing heater/defrost fan motors running but they don't "buzz" unless a foreign object is rubbing on them somewhere.

I dunno this might be the same thing:

On VERY cold mornings (32F or less) I hear what I call a wheezing sound that some might describe as a buzz. I sounds like it might be comming from inside but I'm not sure. It only lasts for less than a second and it only seems to occur on clod mornings on the fist crank of the day. I can't make it repeat even by shutting off the car waiting and re-starting. Once it's done it it's done for that day.....not throwing any codes so I just deal with it.

Same here, but I would descrive it as a screeching noise from the Speedo.
