    Bras

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with bras?

Let me clarify that.... Anyone have any thoughts on car bras? I travel the highways a lot here for my daily commute to work, and want to protect the front end. I like the look of the more traditional black bra, (http://www.moparsupercenter.com/Default.aspx) but have heard good things about the new 3M clear bra also. Does the black vinyl bras do any sort of long term damage (scratches) to the paint?

Hazin...I have the Chrysler bra on our 300C and use it for the same reason. Works fine. I also use some plastic sheeting (along the hood lineI got FROM Wal-Mart to better protect the paint FROM the dust/grit that inevitably tries to work its way in between the bra and the paint finish. Only used it for one weekend trip so far, but no problems yet.

I just used the Mopar bra for a 3000 mile road trip. It's a little bit of effort installing and removing especially around the headlights, but it fits great, looks great, doesn't flap around, and did it's job well without any sign of damage. Worth the money...

I use the Mopar bra (got it FROM MoparSuperCenter) here for the dagnab lovebugs. Them things will eat your paint like there's no tomorreee. Install and removal is fast, I have had no problems with it. Just make sure to remove it when you wash, and keep a good coat of wax everywhere that it will touch the car.

Thanks everyone. I've been aflicted with the all too common Italian disease of fundsalo, so until that clears up I think I'm going to go with the Mopar bra for now. Maybe look INTO getting the clear bra after the first of the year.

    Thanks again,

i dont remember if it was on the mopar site or the box i got when i bought the bra but it says it is made of a certain material that will not damage the car and believe it gauranteed it wouldnt. the bra does seem to be made of a strange material i havent seen other bras made of. it seems soft on one side like a gauze material and a mesh like material onthe outside kinda looks like a carbon fiber design. i think the bra looks good and i will post real pics tommorow ( not the brochure pics they make it look bad).
