Blastin Bob 9db - 300C SRT Design

Hi guys,

First official thread here.. I think.

I just got my Blastin' Bob Resonator Eliminator 9db, and it's already installed ! Just to let you know in case some of you are not sure about making the move or not... Let me give you my impressions:

1- Cheap !!! Got it for 169.00$ on ebay !
2- Looks AWESOME. Easy install, fits like a glove. Look is HAWT !
3- Deep, rich and smooth sound (at 2,000 RPM mainly)

I'll post pics eventually, don't have my cam with me right now.

The ONLY thing that honestly annoys me is the sound... As I said, it is stunning, but at 110 KM/h or 65 miles/h, the car revs at 2,000 RPM and the sound is a bit annoying (too intense) on the highway. Of course I made that choice (9db) but didn't know it would be that agressive on a daily driving. Still, I will certainly get used to it, but I won't give a lift to my mom or my boss in the car... But... That's the only thing.

Any other have the same exhaust ? I'd like to have you opinions !

Sounds like the infamous MDS drone. When in fuel saver mode at speed, there's this low pitched, steady hum/moan. You either get used to it or pull it back into 4th (which kills the mileage, of course). Corsa is the only exhaust I've heard of that cancels that drone out with their sound cancellation technology. Expensive, but whisper quiet at cruise and sick at WOT. But like I said, about $1200 + install. Depends on how much highway driving you do, probably. If you can get used to it, you've got a bargain.

I've got the 12db with the 4" tips on my Charger, and LOVE IT!!!! I got used to it, granted, it CAN be a little loud, BUT it's WAY better than stock, and duals fill the rear-end up.
