Black Wing For Trunk - any out there besides BT?

Hey guys - anyone know where I can get one of these besides BT? I know they have a pretty nice one but I'm not really looking to pay $170 to snag one somewhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot!

170?! thats it! does that come with the insert?....ive had my rear wing from bt for a while now...almost 2 years....let me tell you..it wasnt cheap then....id pay 170 for it in a heart beat!

pretty sure it's 170 without the insert. Buy I can sand, prime, paint, etc... for way less - its just a matter of being too lazy and wanting to buy one haha.

try AAC i know they where painting them and doing the leds around them they may be able to just sell you a painted one.

Actually it was more then $170.00 not sure where he got that price from.But we dont make it anymore anyways.Thanks for the props

My apologies - $170 was second hand information. I should have gone on a bit of a fact finding mission before posting the price. But they still have a great site sans the trunk wing! haha

go to your local dealer parts department. Let them know you want a wing logo for the trunk. SAY its for an 08. (part number is 68019645-AB or 23054012) The 08 wing only cost $24.10 (previous years cost $75). The wing is also 2 inches wider. Its really not that noticable. Once you have the wing take it to a painter and ask um to sand it, prime, and paint it. ALSO, the new wing will FIT just as the old wing did. The alignment tabs are in the exact same spot.

well there are a couple options. If you know a painter or if you are in a Car Club...ask around to see if anyone knows a painter. Ask your friends if they know a painter. See if you can get a good "friend price". If you know a mechanic, chances are they'll know a painter. I had mine COLOR MATCHED...I over paid because i was in a hurry and had it done by the dealer. It cost 79 bux. My buddy had his painted for like 40 dollars BUT it was painted BLACK, not Brilliant black. To be honest, the difference really isnt noticable. SOOO it could cost yo any where from 25 to 100 bux to have it painted. Where are you? Here in San Jose...painters charge WAY to MUCH for their time.
