    Smile Amp and woofer installation

    Hey guys i have a mono Kenwood 1000w amp which will be running 2 woofers. i have the Boston Acustic sound system (the system with the stock subwoofer). is it possible to tap into the stock subwoofer and run wires to my kenwood amp?

    Easy, you mus thave a 300C if you have a stock Sub, huh? Unless it's a Kicker Sub.

    Anyways, you've already got speaker level, low level audio at your rear deck going into the existing sub, just run it to your amp (assuming it has speaker level inputs). Or if needed, run it through a 'Line Output Converter' to lower the 'speaker level' output to 'line output' level, into your amp. There just so happens to be power in the rear too.

    I'm about to do the same thing, but don't have a factory sub in the Magnum. Gotta run it off the front door speakers.

    There is a product coming out from peripheral that will allow you to 'add an amp' easy, but doesn't sound to me like you need it.
