I just saw one all torn up on the set this past Saturday after the Beastie Boys concert. I tried to walk up to it, but security told me to stay back. I asked one of the security what the movie was called, and she said she couldn't tell me. So then I asked another security guard, and he told me it was called "The Island", and was about LA in the future, after a bunch of flooding. I guess they expect LA to look like Detroit in the future! :P At least 300's will still be around.....but maybe that means that they won't restyle them for like 15 years. :?
This movie looks odd, to say the least.
They mix futuristic Identity Report cars (in fact, I think they reuse that same Lexus) with current production cars that have a futuristic look to them.
Cars that appear in the movie:
Cadillac SRX
Chrysler 300/300C
Dodge Magnum
Chrysler Crossfire
Chrysler Pacifica
Pontiac Vibe
Pontiac Grand Prix
Audi TT
Lexus SC430
BMW 6-series converible
Mazda RX-8
Range Rover
Mercedes ML-class
Honda Element
And they absolutely destroy a 300C police car. YIKES!!!
Here, have a gander for yourselves at the pre-crash picture:

Here's a nice big picture of the 300 cop car. It appears to be non-Hemi.
Looks like it got extensive front end work. Maybe that's what the 2008 refresh will look like...
