300c conversion (compare to SRT front) pics inside

i got the SRT8 bumper minus the lip from Paul (youngmedic23).. Couldnt afford the lip right now, so just got the bumper.

I got it painted earlier this week. Here are some pis, and I will explain a few differences between a regular C bumper and a SRT bumper along the way:

ill get the fog lights in a few weeks

the bumper caps on the SRT are not chrome, they are color matched. So I did the same. Kept the color matched. However, they had the hole for the headlight washers. I dont have this feature, and it cost way too much to buy a "dummy" set, so I had the body shop fill the holes. Looks perfect

The SRT bumper has half circles on both sides of the hole in the bumper. Not sure why.

The SRT bumper has tiny slits throughout the bumper. This is where the lip attaches. I decided not to fill them in case I want to get a factory lip in the future. At this time, I could not afford it.

Headlights are aftermarket. I was going to wait to get my hands on some OEMs, but the C bumper would not mount over my K2 projectors for the base/touring model. So I went to the K2motors warehouse and Dominic hooked me up with these. I need to get 9006 style HIDs since my old ones were H1.

The camera didnt catch it, but the projector has a slight purple hue, nearly identical to the S-class Mercedes.

overall, I am pleased. Fogs in about 2 weeks and Im set. If I can get a pair of OEM headlights, that will be better.

you should hit up VIP300CINC for his SRT "copy" lip.. I didn't think about it yesterday when I saw you..

but Eugene makes a nice knock off lip that is pretty close to a perfect match to the OEM at half the cost..

Ditto! I have one of Eugenes carbon fiber lips on my Mag/300c conversion, and like Stage3R/T said welcome to the Club!
