Thanks for the compliments. I have another grill here that I'm going to work on once I have some time. Hopefully in the next week or so. I have my plastic aftermarket grill as well I might give a go at.
This is a close up of the grill from the side so you can see how much is recessed.

I'm trying to get some more info on the lip as we speak. I did fill a space where the brands logo would go so anyone interested would have to do the same. I'll post up more info in a day or two.

I had that grille up for sale on here for quite a while actually, I recessed it 2.5" with plastic sheeting and fiberglassed over the full shell. I had another that I was building but I just didn't feel like finishing it since nobody wanted to buy this one.

Scotto is the one who did the majority of the work on the grill, I just finished it. I've got a couple other things in the works for the car. I also need to decide what to do about the rear. Add the lip and hide the exhaust, add the lip and cut holes for the exhaust and do different tips, or leave it without the lip.

Thanks. I'm happy with the sound and end result but there is some drone. I commute 120 miles a day on the highway and it's pretty mild so it doesn't bother me.

Some photos from today. I'm waiting on my new front wheels and am still undecided about adding the rear lip. Hopefully I'll have the new front bumper finished in a couple of weeks.

Time for a little update. Here's how the car looked last fall. It's about to go "under the knife" for a some major changes.



Here's how it sits today:

I had to have it flat bedded last fall and they broke my lip off. I have two new lips coming so whatever one i like better will go on the new bumper and the other will go on this one. Hopefully I'll have some updates in a couple of weeks.

IMO, you should tint your tails for $20 (& tape-off the reverse sectioin/leave it clear)
