I have the mygig upgrade as well, no sirius subscription. When on channel 184, It shows "no Signal" on Evic, the same as on the Mygig.

How do you use this when you don't have steering wheel buttons in an R/T? I'm wanting to get one, but if I don't have access to all of the functions, then it's a moot point.

Having no signal is the killer. You both have no Sirius antenna installed? If it had signal, it would put up a station name for channel 184, and Tranzformer would overwrite that.
I'm working on overcoming all this and taking over, but I'm not sure that its possible given the architecture of how messages are displayed.
I have been able to take over Sirius for those with seperate Sirius receiver (2005-2007) so I k.ow that is possible. It's the mygig, since Sirius is embedded in the radio that is going to be tough, especially since I don't have one to experiment with. Then there are all the lockpicks and Pac adapters with aftermarket head units...

^ Can't really say Joe, I've been runing your device since I put the head/cam combo in my car last year & we keep learning new things on track outings. In all honesty it has to have helped on a positive note, the car just shifts so much crisper & quicker.
Coming along with evic display for cars without Sirius but with factory radio; working now on cars without factory radio. Then the cars that have mygig with lockpick. There are so many combinations of hardware, its quite the conundrum...

Here's the short of it - TranZformer can now display on the EVIC screen whenever it wants! No need to have Sirius - even will work with aftermarket radios!
Haven't tried it on every combination of radios (all I have is REC, Sirius, and a Lockpick) but I think I have it covered pretty well.
Now EVERYONE with EVIC can see status updates for tranzformer on/off, adaptives reset, Burnout mode, Launch mode, PeakRPMs, 0-30, 0-60, trans temp, Aux on/off, and setting all the pressures and Autoupshift RPMs!
Download the new ZPU and the new firmware, load it in, and let me know how it works.
It's version 1.2.3 062912, and here's what's new:
Took control over EVIC, with or without satellite radio!
New ZPU utility version 1.2.0.0 (yo'll need to uninstall the old version of ZPU first)
- Added checkboxes in ZPU for:
- Non-factory radio: Check this if you don't have aradio at all, or if the interface module that you have with your aftermarket radio doesn't have anything show up on EVIC screen
- 8k tach: Check this if you have a tach that goes to 8k. Default was 7k, but this makes the tach display of AutoUpshift RPM's incorrect on cars with an 8k tach.
- Full-time SWS: Check this if you always want your volume buttons to work as shifter. Good if you have no radio or aftermarket radio without steering wheel control.
- Added CAN capture utility. It's when and if you need to work with me to get a new feature working in a car that I can't get to.
- Added safety for Launch mode - does not apply ABS pump. More like traditional line lock where you pump the brakes up. It holds them.
Finally! Now us hardcore fans who drive our Magnums on the other side of the globe (no sirius here) can use it as well! I'm getting one!
