Chrome amber means that when the bulbs are off, they are silver in color so you don't have that ugly orange bulb, but when you turn the signal on, they still light up orange.

Just got my set over the weekend, but its too cold to put em in. These kinda look like they're just painted silver... Guess I gotta throw em in to really see what they look like.

They are painted chrome by a local company in San Diego. Please let us know if there are any problems.

Matt, to be fair, I think you should change the text on your site to reflect that these bulbs are painted silver, and not the chrome bulbs like you show a picture of. The Silver ones may work fine, but it's not exactly what you are showing/describing on your website.

Actually, the update is that our painter just got us the new versions that are chrome.
