New Tranzformer Firmware available for download

New code avaialble to flash to your tranzformer - adds on a few new features. In a nutshell:

1.1.9 - 042712: Added ability to set AutoUpshift RPMS on the fly. With car in Park, Reverse, or Neutral, press cruise stalk in and use steering wheel +/- buttons to adjust. Shows RPMs on EVIC is in Sirius mode, and also the tach itself. Tach resumes normal activity after seconds.
Setting upshift pressures show on tach. 0 = 0%, 7 = 100%. They still show on EVIC as well. Each time either of these is invoked, the trmperature gage will display transmission temperature instead of engine temperature (for 6 seconds). C = 30F, H = 287F, and 1/2 scale is 160F. (engine temp if in Park, though)
Launch mode - with car in AutoStick 1, vehicle stopped... pull hi beam stalk and ABS pump will turn on and hold ALL 4 WHEELS locked. This allows you to load TCC, and simply release stalk to launch. This is an experimental implementation and may not work 100% of the time.
Turn ESP back on - (purposed for R/T's) Use "key trick", NoESP, or switch method of disabling ESP. Instead of restarting car, simply turn key to START momentarily while car is travelling less than 5MPH (stopped is good) and ESP system will reset and turn back on. This is a perfect complement to "key trick" as you can disable ESP by turning key with car over 5MPH, and ESP on again when less than 5MPH.

So this is good for those of you that have steering wheel buttons, but no Sirius. Now you'll be able to adjust AutoUpshift RPM's and shift strengths and see them on your tach. Also you can see transmission temperature in place of engine temps.

And great news for R/T owners that you now can turn ESP full on and full off at will!

I haven't updated the manual to reflect these added features yet, so the description above is all there is for now.

As always, feedback appreciated. I'm still not done, more to come

This will take some time to digest! If I read it correctly, now the Launch Mode will work on my All Wheel Drive without worrying ablut breaking the Transfer Case! Always coming up with neet updates.

    Joe,
What do you mean by autoupshift rpms? Also, do we lose the front two wheel caliper locks if we upgrade. What are the benefits, I guess. Sounds damn cool though.

The Autoupshift is a feature that has been there all along; but you need to use a PC to be able to adjust it. This is the tranzformer's ability to shift for you when you're in Autostick. Perfect for those with an MTCM, or those that want to shift at an RPM other than 5800/6400 or whatever it is that the Predator sets.

You don't lose burnout mode. That's a cruise stalk pull. Launch mode is a hi beams pull. Most of the upgrade is so you can set more on the fly if you have steering wheel buttons.

I am amazed by all of this wizardry....and have nearly everything to do this mod, too....

Trying to figure out if I'm going to keep the car long enough to see it through!

So, as another feature, if you push the lighter in, when it "pops", does a topless Sofia Vergara sashay up to the driver's side window with a beer and pizza?

Great firmware update. I just loaded the latest firmware and have been playing around with it since. My wife just shook her head, as usual! Thanks again!

Cant get this to load on mine. Do I need to do the previous upgrade first? I get an error message when trying to load. Should the car be on or off also when trying to load the new software?

Car can be on or off. You can also upgrade when tranzformer is out of car. So it failed upgrade; is it dead now or still working? Upgrades don't have to be done in order. You can load in any version at any time.
