we do have PST but I thaught if I buy someting that comes from ontario I should pay taxes from ontario if applicable since thats where it will be comming from (ontario)
as you stated this in your firt post : Retail Price: $899.75 including shipping to most of the U.S.A. and Canada
what do you consider most of canada(regions or provinces)? when you say :Shipping to most parts of Canada is extra, and you have your required privincial tax. Wouldn't that go against you initiale post?
just want to get the facts straight and see if I have the $$$$$$ to buy this or not before the end of the groupe buy and no intention to cause s**t

Hi Mike, the way we have to do the Canadian tax is that you pay the proper tax from your Province. Therefore BC pays more for one of our kits than someone from Alberta. Just like all of us we wish there was no tax LOL. We ship from Toronto and unfortunately we have to have a shipping surcharge on larger boxes to the far West and East of Canada. There are no shipping surcharges within Ontario, Quebec, Manatoba, etc but with the extremely high shipping rates to BC, Alberta, Newfoundland etc. we have to cover these extra costs. It usually ranges from $80 - $100 extra in shipping for our full cat-back kits. Thanks I hope this helps and feel free to call.

Just installed my Solo exhaust system over the weekend on 06 Magnum by myself, install was very easy. For the stock exhaust, just loosen all the clamp and remover the hangers (the hanger was easy to remove with soapy water and channel lock pliers). From the rear of the car, grab the stock exhaust, while pulling on it, wiggle side to side and it cam right off the mid pipe.
Putting Solo exhaust, I first removed of all the burrs off the end of the pipes with metal file (not sure if this was really necessary), the pipes just slid into each other without any effort, putting the hangers back in kept the exhaust system in place. Align the exhaust system (between the mid pipe and mufflers, I used the floor jack to keep the pipes up to where I wanted them). Tighten all the clamps little bit at a time (about 3 steps of tightening), also make sure you tighten all the clamps to 60 ft pounds, first time I did it, the clamps were not tighten enough and soon as I lowered the floor jack, the pipes drooped down and was almost in contact with the cross member of the drive shaft tunnel. I got my toque wrench, realign the exhaust with the floor jack holding the pipes to where I want it and tighten the clamps to 60 pounds and the pipes stayed where I want them after the floor jack was removed.
One thing I did not want with this exhaust system was, not to be too loud and I would classify this system as mild, compared to my JBA exhaust system on my 06 GTO. I do have JBA shorty headers on the GTO and I would say the JBA system is about 40% louder than SOLO. I do only have bit over 100 miles on the Solo and expect it to get bit louder. I have to say the Solo exhaust sounds nice and when I'm on the freeways at steady speed, I can not hear the exhaust with the windows up or down. With little gas, you can hear nice exhaust tone.
Great to hear! Thanks for the fantastic feedback and welcome to the SOLO family!!!!
