Having purchased AJ's aluminum 449 out of his Charger last year I can say without hesitation buying the complete motor is a no brainer if someone is in the market (or even on the fence). You are getting a proven combo (N/A record holder) that is meticulously maintained (seriously . . . .like borderline OCD). Two items to think about:

1 - No core charge. . . .you can sell what is coming out of your ride and make a material amount of the purchase price back.

2 - Tuning . . . this is a motor AJ has and continues to spend time tuning/adjusting. That is huuugggee. Having all of that accumulated data applied to your tune out of the gate is a tremendous advantage.
