** THIS UNIT HAS THE CD CHANGER “DISC ERROR” AND WILL NOT PLAY CD’s**

This sale includes a silver Nav Bezel in like new condition, the nav antenna, and a 2005 REC unit with AC Navigation Disc. As mentioned, the cd changer is jammed in this unit. You can search the forum for “Disc Error” to learn more. All other radio and navigation functions operate as they should. If you take into account the price of the bezel and antenna, you are getting the Nav unit for under $300.

I purchased this Nav unit from another forum member in 2006 for $900. It arrived with the disc error. I attempted to have the stereo replaced under warranty through my dealer. They wouldn’t replace it because my car did not come with a factory Nav. The service manager gave me the wink, wink and asked if I had a friend with a vehicle with a nav unit. Unfortunately, I did not. The non-warranty repair option at that time was through United Radio Serives (URS) 800-634-8606. I spoke with a Brent at that number and it was approximately $425 to repair so it’s been sitting in the garage cabinet since (and a sore subject with my wife). I just traded in my 300c for a Jeep SRT8 with Nav so this is an extra unit.
