Say it ain't so! All of these guys are right. There are going to be dissapointments and letdowns in every group, forum, car club, whatever...One thing I can say is that you have been a poineer an inspiration here. It may seem silly to some, but I look forward to getting on the board when I get home, during lunch at work and anytime I can really..and it's because of people like you and all of the other great members here.
I sure hope things brighten up for you and you realize that you have about 6 K members to share your hobby with! Besides....I have yet to see pics of your awesome headlights that Ernie did installed on your ride!

Let's just say I have had the misfortune of hooking up with some people on the forum who have done some things that most would consider questionable from a ethics stand point. No theft just no word worth gold and it has cost lost opportunities,frustration and mostly deep dissappointment. I guess when you look forward to sometning so much and the opposite of what you expect happens it hurts.

In 98 I had a BMW and it brought nothing but bad luck for three years. ALL car related. Went away when I moved on.

Lets just say I bought it to participate in something. Namely this forum and although some things have gone well and some things just ok there have been to many things occur that really bother me and hurt. Now I must again remind you I am super sensitive to certain things.Been let down again on a purchase. So I love playing with the car and being involved but can't deal with the dissappointments. So perhaps a new car a new site and start fresh.

then you should'nt dissapointment yourself.....do you realize how much money, time and dedication that i have put into my crappy little ride just so i can have some freakin suicide doors?!?!?!??! if anyone wants to be dissapointed its me!!!!!!! LOL

if your goin to emerse yourself into this wonderfull hobby be prepared for some dissapointment......i know i wasnt and im still waitng 5 months later 15K later just for 2 freakin doors and a air ride suspension........not tryin to bring you down, but you cant let dissapointment steer you away from what you really want.....and a new car site may only exceed in more dissapointments and so on....if you love the ride and your happy with it....then thats all that really matters...lifes made of nothing but dissapointments, its up to you to make yourself happy.....dont be so hard on yourself...=)
