DodgeMagnum.net/Chrylser300C.net Has A Chat Room!

Dodgemagnum.net/Chrysler300c.net now has its very own IRC chat room! Join in and talk with your fellow members and enthusiasts!

If you are familiar with IRC, connect to a Chat-Solutions server and join #dodgemagnum. If you are unfamiliar, and want to join in, follow the simple tutorial below.

How To Join Tthe Dodgemagnum.net/Chrysler300c.net Chat Room

1. Download and install mIRC from http://www.mirc.com

2. Start mIRC

3. After starting mIRC, you will have to press the "Continue" button on the first menu that pops up. After doing that, you should get a menu that looks like this:



Fill in the information in the blanks, and then press the red flower button. (Circled in the picture.)

4. The next menu should look similar to the one below:



Click on the pull down lists, and match the settings to what you see in the picture.

5. Next, click on the plus (+) sign next to the word "Connect" on the menu on the left. Than click "Options". Your screen should now look like this:



Click on the "Perform" button and enter /join #dodgemagnum on the screen that opens. It should look similar to this:



Once that is finished, click the "Ok" button.

6. Click the "Connect To Server" button, like in the pic below, and once you are connected, enjoy the chat room!



Note: After doing this inital setup, all you will have to do whenever you fire up mIRC is hit the "Connect To Server" button.

um maybe i missed this but whats teh server and channel name? is it like di.nets? irc.chat-solutions.org and then whats the channel name?

Connect however you are used to connecting to get in to #intrepid. You can get in to the chat for this site from there as well, the channel is #dodgemagnum

Bummer...No Mac OS X option for that program.

There are IRC programs for Mac's. I don't know off hand what they are called though. :(

I am looking at a finding a solution where people can chat right from this site.

OK, after much trouble creating an "on-site" chat room....I'm going to do some more work on it this weekend. Hopefully (for those of you that use the chat room) you will be able to connect directly through the website.

This is one of those things that has been nagging me for a couple months, I need to get it done! :x
