Hey everyone,
Maybe this is a little un-orthodox, but I am going to be up front and honest with you here. Cold Air Inductions offers a great cold air intake, it's like nothing on the market in terms of overall quality, craftsmanship, and design, and the gains it gets prove it to be very effective (16 rwhp on a load cell chassis dyno with the hood closed for the 5.7 & 6.1 Hemi).
Purchase our system and we will ship it to you for FREE. If you do not like the quality, fit, finish, or performance after installing it you can return it in the original packaging for a full refund. I am so confident in our product that I know we won't have any returns, we have sold thousands of systems and have never had someone return one because of dis-satisfaction.
We offer systems for the 2005-2010 Charger, Challenger, 300C and Magnum for both the 5.7L & 6.1L and we have them in silver or black finish. Just go to this link, use the search function to narrow down your vehicle, and purchase the intake that will be the new modification that I know you will be bragging about!!

I look forward to getting to know all of you and can't wait to have our fine products on your vehicle!! Thanks!!

Hey Bill! Any idea when a 2011+ Challenger model will be available? I was real close to buying a Camaro, and found you guys in my research. From what Camaro owners have said, you guys provide a great product with great service. I look forward to getting onboard with you guys in the future!
I have a 2011 300C, same question as CiChild.....making one for 2nd gen lx?
Honestly we were going to wait until the spring before doing one, but if the demand is there I can definitely get it bumped up a lot sooner (especially since I think we are only going to need to change the box design) The more demand I see the easier it will be for me to get it pushed up on our engineers list of design items.
If there are more people with the 2011+ version interested please let me know ASAP and I'll get to work on it!!
Yeah, the box shape and mounting points are different. Also, the hole where the intake draws air from is triangle shaped .. other than that they are same as far as I know.
If your looking for sales, and really are serious about breaking into the Mopar market, that would be the way to go. You are coming in at the right time too since the 2nd gen's need a different CAI, and no one seems to be in a hurry to design one for us.
Alot of the guys interested in a CAI for a 06-10 LC/LX have already bought one .... so they are a difficult sale regardless of how good your product is. The 2011+ crowd on the other hand, have been forced to either wait (not many options out there right now for us), or modify the previous gen CAI's themselves to make it work.
The only CAI with a heat-shield for 2011+ I've seen recently is the Arrington for the LC platform .. the rest are either shield-less, or previous gen products that don't fit right or draw air properly in the 2011+ .. so they don't even out-perform the stock box.
If you do push the 2011+ development, once you get it done, scream it on these forums and the other Charger/300 forums ... you'll get business I'm sure. As a 2011 Charger owner I can tell you I would take a long, serious look at your product .. as I'm sure many many others would.
I've heard of your company ... but alot of these Mopar guys know nothing of your product ... so scream really loud.

Thanks I appreciate the feedback. I would also say that I agree with everything you just said! I posted a poll in the intake section to get an idea for demand for developing a 2011+ intake. I really hope that people vote who are really interested so that we can get a really nice system developed right away for everyone who is serious about getting a high performance intake. Thanks again, we appreciate your support and look forward to getting a system out and availalbe for you guys!!
I also have an '11 Challenger with 5.7 looking to purchase a cai now or at least by spring, any idea on your release date and price also will it work with the Mopar T/A hood ducting? Ran into a K&N on sale now for $216 - $252, granted not the greatest system but at least it is a system that will work on the '11's.
PLEASE go to the thread I have posted at: 2011+ Intake Development Poll and vote. If I can get enough votes (which I do not think will be a problem) I can really get this moved up in production fast and have something released pretty close to the first of the new year. The pricing should be close to our current model which is $385, for the fit, finish, materials and craftsmanship you will be getting nothing compares. We don't try and be the cheapest guys out there, we try to make the best intake possible. The system will be designed around a stock vehicle and is usually not set up to support a "ram air" style function. However many of our systems have been modified to get additional air directly from hood ducting. I hope this helps, really appreciate your support, and look forward to your vote!! Thanks!!
Nope doesn't help me at all, not about to spend $385 for something I am going to have to modify to work.![]()
Well thats good, because one of our selling points is the fact that the system requires no modifications, customizations, or fabrications to make it install and perform as designed. Not sure exactly what modifications you are reffering to? Anything you buy can be further modified, however just because you modify it does not mean it will improve it nor is it neccesary to do. Our product is a true "bolt on" that requires nothing other than installing it. Let me know if you have any questions, I would be happy to help.
Silver & Black Intakes are IN STOCK & READY TO SHIP!! Still offering FREE SHIPPING as well!!
Bill, not doubting your integrity, but being in the business I know how things can get skewed to help produce whatever claims need to be made for a product. Do you have any customers that have dynoed your intake away from your facility to substantiate your claims? How exactly does your return policy work? What if your intake only makes 10hp to the wheels and not the 16 you claim? Or what if the torque is down? What is the procedure; I have a dyno at my disposal to test before and after.

David,
Thank you for your response, and let me just say that I completely agree with you on your opening remarks. Dyno results especially can very easily be skewed, quite honestly I could make them say almost anything I wanted (within reason) by manipulating a few things. Being in the intake industry we see it all the time and it drives me nuts! I see competitors post Ad's all the time claiming 20, 30 even 40 HP from a CAI (really people) its absurd. We don't try to post the biggest claims out there, what we try and do is develop a system that unites common sense design principles that will allow the air to move as unrestricted as possible and stay as cool as possible to achieve the best gains.
The HP we claim is to the wheels, with the hood closed during testing, and is on a stock vehicle. At the time, we don't have an in house Dyno, so we use a speed shop up the road that we know well, and does good legitimate Dyno runs without trying to create false gains. The fact is many people these days Dyno their vehicle, so for us to make claims of gains that everyone could go out and disprove time over time would just be shooting ourselves in the foot. When we test a new vehicle application we typically do at least a few dozen Dyno pulls thoughout the design and development proccess. Some show gains a little lower, some show gains a little higher. The numbers we represent our supposed to reflect the average maximum gain that our system consistantly produces. As for customers Dyno testing our products, there is a gentleman on this Forum who has our system and I think he Dyno tested it, avctually I believe he showed 1 HP over what we claimed. I could have a customer take their vehicle to 10 different shops to have their car put on a dyno and would probably see different results at almost all of them. We sell to enough Speed Shops out there to know that Dyno #"s are reflected a lot by the guy running the Dyno!
That being said, feel free to buy our intake and Dyno it, I can't guruantee that your Dyno test will show the same #"s because quite frankly I don't know if the peron running the Dyno is doing it properly. Maybe you will see 12HP maybe you will see 20HP, like you said yourself, results can easily be skewed. I can tell you that if the person is doing things properly and running a good test, you should see right around the 15-16 whp gain over stock that we seen.
I have had 2 people buy our system and return it in the last 8 years of business, so I don't anticipate it being an issue. If you are truly that dis satisfied and want to return it, and its in resellable condition, I'll take care of you. Hopefully this answers your questions!! Thank you for your interest and take care!
This thread still stands!! We back our products up 100% Order a Cold Air Inductions Inc. CAI today and find out what you have been missing!
does your system use oiled filters or can they be bought with a dry?
