Rough schedule for planning purposes:

Friday Test and Tune from 3pm to 6pm
Participant party from 6pm to 8pm

Saturday Gates open at 10am with racing all day.
Racing is the True Street Class and Qualifying for Index/Rumble and Heads Up classes

Sunday Gates open at 8am with racing til about 6pm
Eliminations for Index/Rumble and Heads Up classes.

The NMCA and shopHEMI.com are pleased to announce that there will once again be a special Participant Party (Race or Show) and huge parts raffle open to all Late-Model HEMI Shootout participants and friends. The party, which will take place at the La Quinta Waldorf (one of NMCA’s official host hotels for event) on Friday, June 8th, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, will provide a fun opportunity for racers, show competitors, magazine editors, sponsors and guests to get to know each other in a fun, friendly environment.

guys just an update from the NMCA concerning Drag pack cars... this is direct as written by NMCA management

"Mopar Drag Pak cars (or clones) are not eligible to participate in the Nitto Tire World's Fastest HEMI Challenge portion of the event.

The Late-Model HEMI Shootout was always designed for "street type" modern HEMI vehicles, not factory race cars. It is OK if they come out and compete in any of the Modern Street HEMI Shootout classes that allow them, however, they won't be considered for the World's Fastest HEMI Challenge where we take the 2 fastest HEMI's on the property and race them against each other for the title of "World's Fastest HEMI." They also won't be eligible for the $250 World's Fastest Challenger prize."
