Ahem.....
To whom it may concern;
On behalf of all of the "Redheaded Stepchildren" of the drag racing community including myself, I would like to apply for a rule ammendment that would allow Hemi powered Ram Trucks and retro Hemi powered muscle cars to play with the other kids. I have serious plans to yank the 500 inch bigblock out of my '70 'Cuda and install a slightly smaller Gen III. I would at least like to run exhibition. I think running against cars like the ShopHemi.com Challenger would be a great match race. It sounds fair that the truck guys should have their own class, too. You allow the dragpack V-10 cars into a Hemi race, but you won't allow factory Hemi trucks to a Hemi race? What's wrong with this picture?
All I want to do is race.
Anyone in agreement, please feel free to add on.
Thankyou for your support.![]()

let the fun begin!
Blow it up and trailer it home!!
There are times when it is nice being on the left coast. Think I'll take a nap.
My concerns letting trucks run is they normally don't put DRs on and I'd rather not have the track prep suffer.
As for resto mods, that's different, and I'm not sure what my stance is on that.
This would open the door on some of the other rules about trannys, etc and most likely end up a bit messy.
My head hurts just thinking about rule discussions.

ouch. that hurts...
If you can make up a field with enough cars for each class, then go for it. But doubtful. i.e. super stock class has 5.7's running against 6.1's.Just not enough cars of each class to fill the lanes.

MSHS needs to find a way to get the slow cars out to the track. There is car show at PBIR comming up in June where the slow cars can make a pass on the track fo free.
edit obviously i meant SHOW cars and not slow cars, honest![]()

Everyone always makes such a big deal...
Use 1 lane for street tires, one for slicks, drag radials until eliminations. Hell, I've run for years at tracks that have no "tire preference" issues. Not that big a deal. First, we need to get the cars out there. Then we can afford to buy more stickums, anyway.
